2499 Line of Duty Scholarship

(Open to graduating seniors from any high school in Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon or Montgomery counties)

The 2499 Line of Duty Scholarship was established in memory of Montgomery Police Officer David Colley who died in the line of duty in April 2015. This scholarship benefits a graduating senior of any high school located in Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, Macon, or Montgomery Counties. An eligible applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university. An applicant should plan to pursue a career in the military or as a first responder or be a child of a member of the military or first responder.

Abe Brown Memorial Scholarship

(Open to graduating seniors from Elmore County High School)

The Abe Brown Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Principal and Coach Abe Brown. This scholarship is available to Elmore County High School graduates who have attended ECHS for at least three years. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. The award will be based on academic performance, the potential to perform as an outstanding student, school and community activities that demonstrate achievement and leadership, and financial need.

Adam Gay Scholarship

(Open to graduating seniors from Dothan High School or Houston Academy)

The Adam Gay Scholarship was established in loving memory of Adam Gay, an outstanding athlete and senior at Northview High School who was tragically killed in an automobile accident in August 1999. Any graduating senior/athlete from Dothan High School or Houston Academy is eligible to apply for this $1,000 scholarship. Awards are based on the student’s academic record, athletic accomplishments, and character. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, have participated in a sport at their high school, and demonstrated good character through leadership roles and service to school and community.

Adolphe Hohenberg Scholarship

(Open to graduating seniors from Wetumpka High School)

The Adolphe Hohenberg Scholarship was established by sons Elkan and Charles to honor their father’s active interest and participation in civic enterprises related to the community and to benefit Wetumpka High School graduating seniors. Selection criteria include students’ scholarship, character, and financial need.

Anita Rae Sparks Holley Scholarship

(Open to graduating seniors from Elmore County High School)
The Anita Rae Sparks Holley scholarship benefits a majorette or drum major at Elmore County High School with one annual award of $1,000.00. Eligible applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and plan to study at an accredited four-year or two-year college, university or trade school.

Barrett Family Scholarship

(Open to graduating seniors from any high school in Elmore County who are planning to attend Auburn University) 

The Barrett Family Scholarship, established in memory of Terry, Ben and Janet Barrett, benefits graduates of any Elmore County high school who plan to attend Auburn University. Preference will be given to graduates of Wetumpka High School, although graduates of other Elmore County high schools will be considered. Awards will be based on academic achievement, financial need and community service. Applicant could be interviewed by the selection committee.

Ben Grubbs Scholarship

(Open to graduating seniors from Elmore County High School)

The Ben Grubbs Scholarship was established to benefit graduates of Elmore County High School and will be used to fund four $2,500 scholarship awards annually. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Preference is given to students with involvement in church and community service and to students demonstrating financial need.

Butler County Scholarship

(Open to graduating seniors from any Butler County public high school)
The Butler County Scholarship is available to graduating African American seniors of Georgiana School, Greenville High School, and McKenzie School. One scholarship will be awarded with the amount determined annually. Recipients may apply to renew the scholarship for three additional years.

Caddell Construction Co. (DE), LLC Scholarship

The Caddell Construction Co. (DE), LLC Scholarship benefits rising college sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are seeking construction-based degrees at an accredited college or university. Other related majors may also be considered. Scholarships of up to $10,000.00 will be awarded annually.

CAEC Lineman Scholarship

(Must be resident of one of these Alabama counties: Autauga, Bibb, Chilton, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lowndes, Montgomery, Perry, Talladega, or Tallapoosa)

The CAEC Lineman scholarship is open to persons who are seeking training to become an electrical line worker and meet the eligibility requirements listed below. Awards will be valid for 12 months from the May award date.

Eligibility Requirements:
· Must have a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
· Must be at least 18 years old by the course start date
· Must possess a valid Alabama driver’s license
· Must be eligible to obtain a CDL driver’s license
