The scholarship was established in 2021 by Dr. Stone’s family, classmates and friends as a tribute to the compassion and faith she practiced daily and to her excellence as a high school educator and a professor at Auburn University. The scholarship benefits a graduating senior from Lee Scott Academy in Auburn, AL and Morgan Academy in Selma, AL who will attend Auburn University’s main campus. Eligible applicants will have a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and a minimum ACT score of 25.
