The Central Alabama Community Foundation (CACF) partnered with Project Red Clay to award $50,000 in grants to Hope Inspired Ministries for their dedicated work in empowering local youth. The grant was presented at a ceremony held on Tuesday, August 18, at Hope Inspired Ministries.

“This partnership with the Cloverleaf Project Red Clay Fund allows us to directly invest in grassroots organizations that are making a tangible, lasting difference in Lowndes County,” said Burton Crenshaw, President of the Central Alabama Community Foundation. “From providing dedicated mentorship in our high schools to helping families keep the lights on and their homes safe, these grants reflect our commitment to strengthening this community from the ground up. We look forward to providing more grants from this initiative over the next several months.”

Hope Inspired Ministries — Dedicated High School & Community Life Coach – $50,000.00
Program Overview: Funding supports a full-time Life Coach shared between Calhoun High School and Central High School. The Life Coach will deliver evidence-based curricula in life skills, character development, and workforce readiness while offering one-on-one mentoring, résumé building, career exploration, and financial literacy training. The coach will also support CACF/Cloverleaf Project Red Clay Fund initiatives at the Lowndes Community Campus—including student transportation—and maintain year-round mentorship during the summer months to help keep students on track toward graduation, higher education, or the workforce.
